About Us

Steve Sunday

All About Steve
Having grown up in a flat above a video store in the 1980s, Steve Sunday claims to have seen every film ever made. He is of course, lying. Let's just humour him for now.

"Often when I have watched a classic film, I want to know a bit more about it, so I go to the internet and look it up. Most of the sites that I find are either very short, very dry, or often little more than plot summaries. In the end I decided to create a site myself, one that contains the sort of thing that I, as a fan, would like to see - information, trivia, what the critics say. There has been a lot of research, but above all I want this to be a fun site.

I have managed to persuade a few friends to help me out, but if you are a writer, blogger, or artist and want to get involved, please let me know."

Trivia Trish
Trish has asked me to point out that although this picture is, admittedly, not terribly recent, it was period costume at the time. She is not 110.

"They don't make movies the way they used to do they? Except for that time someone remade Psycho exactly the same way that they used to, and everyone agreed it was a terrible idea. What is my point? I have no idea."

History Man

History Man
Paul Perro is the children's writer behind the popular and highly recommended www.history-for-kids.com. He also a huge movie fan, and has contributed many original jokes and poems to this site. Paul lives in England with his wife and two children.

Chris the Critic
"How did I become a film critic? Well, it's a funny story actually, it would make a good film in itself. Both my parents were film critics, but they were killed by an evil dark lord film critic when I was a baby. I was raised by an auntie and uncle, who had no interest in films, and we did not get on. Luckily, at the age of 11, I was won a scholarship to a magnificent school in northern England, where they taught you the fine art of film criticism."
