Top 20 List of Old Movies
This list of old movies is a list of our favourite black and white movies of all time. In making our selections, we have considered only classic movies from before 1970. We have chosen movies not based on whether or not they were groundbreaking at the time, but whether or not they are still powerful, funny, moving, and relevant today. There are some great movies on the list, but our number one selection is a movie that is perhaps not so well known. We LOVE "Ice Cold in Alex". Not everyone is going to agree that it is a better film than, say, Sunset Boulevard, but we hope that our putting it at number one will encourage people to seek it out. 1. Ice Cold in Alex 2.
