The Thin Man Series

I love the Thin Man movies! Nick and Nora Charles are as smart and funny today as they were when they were made. My husband had never seen these movies and thought because they were black and white he would not enjoy them, he was wrong!

I have the whole series on DVD and we rewatch them all the time. Actually my least favorite of the series is the original "The Thin Man," but it really sets up the stories for the rest of the series. I think the the first movie was trying to be a noirish (I just made that word up) but they realized the comedy was the real draw and the rest of the series is not as 'dark.'
